Knock Out The Flu

HIGHLIGHTS: TV coverage on Good Day PA, Fox 56, WBRE-TV, plus significant social likes, comments, and shares.

Challenge: A quasi-state agency that collects data on medical error has the strategic goal to become more relevant to the Pennsylvania medical consumer.

Solution: M+G created Knock Out the Flu, a campaign designed to educate the public on the importance of the flu shot.


We teamed up with local Philly celebrities like 6ABC’s Karen Rogers, Philadelphia Inquirer Food Critic Craig LaBan, the Philly Phanatic, and Phang to share flu shot selfies featuring a Rocky-style punch pose.  We followed that up with a TV media tour featuring a patient safety expert explaining the science behind the flu shot that included access to a public information video explaining flu vaccine science.
